How to Reduce Your Hair Loss in 10 Minutes

What do most women get wrong about effective hair care? Believing it requires a lot of time and effort. Couple that with our busy modern-day lifestyles and it's easy to make excuses for why we don't have enough time for self-care. If you think like that, I've got some good news for you.

Growing thick hair and reducing hair fall is all about little efforts. In fact, you can significantly reduce your hair fall in just 10 minutes per day. The key here is to be consistent. But how hard can it be to take 10 minutes per day? You probably already spend more time looking for your keys. At least I know I do!

My guess is that you're reading this because you're short on time and busy enough already, so I'll keep this post short and sweet. So keep reading to learn how to reduce your hair loss in 10 minutes a day. 


Massage Your Scalp (2 minutes)

When your scalp is stiff or tense, capillaries located in the scalp start to shrink. This means less blood is able to get to your follicle. When your follicles can’t receive enough nutrients and oxygen from your blood, this results in hair loss. 

To ensure you have blood flowing to your scalp, just give yourself a quick two-minute scalp massage. This also helps make your scalp more elastic and ensures it doesn’t stick to your cranium bone, enabling more blood flow to your follicles.


Make Lemon Water (3 minutes) 

Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant and plays a major role in maintaining the health of your veins and capillaries. It helps fight oxidative stress which directly affects hair loss. Once a day, pull out a glass, cut up a lemon, and squeeze.

Making a glass of lemon water is a quick and easy way to consume Vitamin C which your body needs for healthy hair growth. It will also be absorbed into the body much more effectively compared to taking a supplement. 


Meditate (5 minutes)

Stress damages your hair and every other system in your body. Not only does stress increase hair loss by creating hormone imbalances (more cortisol, adrenaline and DHT in men and women), but having high stress levels can affect your body's ability to absorb vitamins and minerals that are necessary for healthy hair growth. To reduce stress, simply give yourself 5 minutes to meditate. You could do this first thing in the morning, during your lunch break, or even in the shower!


Making an effort for your hair doesn't require you to spend a lot of money on products or hours on your routine. It simply requires small efforts, every single day. I hope you can block out some time in your schedule and make room for these three actions every day.
