Are you losing why too much hair? Or does your hair break off all the time? Maybe you struggle with frizz, dry or brittle hair? Or is it limp, oily or lacks volume?
It's time to put an end to the guessing game. Only if you know what's causing your struggle, can you take action and make every day a good hair day
High Stress Lifestyle
Stress is a hair killer! It's one of the most common causes for hair loss and many of us don't even know. We joke about how stress causes hair loss (which it does!) but it gets even worse than that!
When youā€™re stressed, your body produces cortisol which is a stress hormone. When you get super stressed, or even a little stressed, cortisol will signal your body to shut down some of your hairs growth lifecycles as they are not essential to survival :worried: That means stress does lead to hair loss, it also keeps new hairs from growing which thins out your density.
Yes it's that bad! You need to get your stress under control if you really care about your hair.
Bad Diet
Looks like you have to work on your diet. Your hair is a reflection of how healthy your body is. That means if your lacking vital nutrients or eating too much sugar or simple carbohydrates your hair will suffer.
You need to make sure to reduce foods that restrict your blood flow and impact your hormones while also getting all the nutrients your hair needs to grow and be healthy.
Harmful External Environment
Looks like you're living a polluted environment which is impacting your hair! The pollutants harm your body and your hair follicles from the inside making your hair grow out thinner while at the same time blocking your follicles from the outside causing irritation and potential hair loss.
Make sure to cleanse your scalp frequently but not too frequently that the harmful ingredients inside shampoos damage your strands. It's a fine balance so you have to keep experimenting.
Exposure to Harmful Ingredients
Your hair concerns could be caused by harmful ingredients in your products. Most hair care products are full of harmful chemicals such as Alcohol, Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, Sodium Laureth Sulphate, Parabens, Fragrance. But even if you're already buying only sulphate-free products there are countless other ingredients that are just as bad but no one is telling you about it.
The best thing you can do is further educate your haircare knowledge and find reliable product recommendations that are truly toxin-free.
Lack of Haircare Knowledge
Haircare can be complicated. There are so many products out there and if you don't know which hair profile you have you might end up buying the wrong product or you use it the wrong way.
Once you're equipped with the right knowledge it's easy to get your best hair ever. Finding reliable information, however, is the difficult part because of false marketing, paid product endorsement and fake reviews. Focus on brands and thought leaders that made it their mission to educate consumers so you don't fall for false claims.
